Regenerative tourism advocates a sustainable way of traveling.
A concept that goes beyond “do no harm” and seeks the regeneration and active revitalization of the environment, producing positive results for communities and local economies: sustainable regeneration.
Kapok was born under the idea of being a project that follows these principles.
This is why:
Kapok is 100% solar powered
The clear, clean water we provide comes from our natural well.
We return the water we use to the earth in the same condition as we received it, thanks to our wastewater treatment system, which converts black and grey water into productive gardens of banana, papaya and other plants.
We built our suites elevated, so as not to interfere with the passage of the animals that inhabit this jungle.
Natural ventilation also brings the benefit of cooler rooms.
Fertile soil is life! We convert our waste from the kitchen and our sanitary system into soil for the vegetable garden by means of composting.
